Privacy policy
Last updated October 9, 2026
This policy explains what we do with personal information when you visit damasktech.com or contact us. We wrote it in plain English. If something is not clear, email us.
Who we are
DamaskTech is a business of Salah Etma, doing business as DamaskTech, based in Metro Detroit, Michigan, USA. Email: hello@damasktech.com.
What we collect
When you visit the website. We do not use cookies, and we do not use tracking or advertising tools. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical data to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. This includes your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for.
When you book a call. The “Book a free 20-minute call” buttons open our booking page on Cal.com. Cal.com collects what you type there: usually your name, email address, company and any notes. We use it to hold the call and prepare for it.
When you email us. We receive your email address and anything you write. Our email is hosted by Zoho.
We do not collect payment details on this website. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Why we use it
- To answer you and hold the call you booked.
- To send you a quote or proposal if you ask for one.
- To keep the website working and secure.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need:
- Cloudflare (website hosting and security)
- Cal.com (booking calls)
- Zoho (email)
We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Contact and booking details from people who do not become clients: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client information: for as long as we work together, plus 90 days. Then we return it or delete it.
- Technical logs: up to 30 days.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email hello@damasktech.com. We will reply within 30 days. Some US states give their residents extra privacy rights. We will honor those requests too.
Security
We protect information with access controls, two-factor login on our accounts and encrypted connections (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
When we add new features, such as a contact form or text messages, we will update this page first and change the date above.
